Our approach
We build React Native apps using TypeScript by default, React Navigation for routing, and Zustand or Redux Toolkit for state management depending on complexity. Where shared logic with a web product makes sense, we structure the codebase as a monorepo so business logic, types, and API clients can be reused across web and mobile rather than duplicated. We use native modules only where React Native's abstraction genuinely needs supplementing, keeping the codebase as close to "write once" as practically possible.
When React Native is the right choice
React Native makes the most sense when your team already knows React, when you want maximum code-sharing with an existing web product, or when fast iteration cycles matter more than absolute native performance. For apps with extremely heavy native functionality (complex AR, deep hardware integration) or teams without any React background, Flutter or native development sometimes fit better — we'll recommend based on your team's actual skills and app requirements.
